Another Movie Knife Question

I just watched the new version of "Gone in 60 Seconds" wiht Nick Cage and was wondering if anyone knew what model the auto knife is that was used in the scene by the character Sphinx? I apologize if this has been asked or covered before, the look was nice but it was a quick shot and I couldn't tell for sure. I think it may have been a BM AFO, but just wondering. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to everyone. Regards, chieftd

No, it isn't an AFO. It is a Dalton Smachet, IMHO, because it is such a Huge auto, and benchmade doesn't make big autos. (or grind their swedges evenly)

Sorry for the last comment, I'm just dissapointed in BM.

Can anyone make out what the knife that the Russian spy pulls on Agent Hatch (Sandra Bullock) in the openning sequence of "Miss Congeniality" was? It is so quick that I couldn't make it. It is a very funny movie, by the way. Takes quite a few shots at liberal chic targets along the way.

I thought the knife in 'Gone in 60 seconds' looked similar to a SEAL or Ochs Black knife copy but even playing it back frame by frame it shifted to another shot before anything became clear.

Another blade faux paus is in the movie 'Drop Zone' with Wesley Snipes and Gary Busey. Busey's character comes up behind a security guard and reaches across and stabs his own arm right before drawing the blade through the guys neck! Also, the knife must have been a fake but his reaction is pretty interesting as he really jumps when the blade hits.
