Hey everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying there Sunday. I know some of you are probably grinding away on some beauty as I post this. My nome is Kirk and yes this one of those my first knife post, sorry.
This is one I have been working on for a while mainly because I am working with minimal equipment. I just purchased an 6x48 grinder because thats all I could afford right now. So I am hoping I'll get alittle faster at turning these out.

This knife I chose to give to my dad for Father's day because, well, because I have never made anything for him. He has
given me knives several times so I thought why not my first.

This is a small skinner made from a peice of left over 1/4 inch 1095 with a flat grind. I start a large knife that didn't really turn out like I hoped and I had a 6 inch piece I didn't want to go to waste.

The handle is green maple burl with brown liners a slightly tappered tang and a mosaic lanyard tube.

Comments and suggestions welcome. Thanks for looking.
