Another new 25!

It was delivered yesterday. I had pre-ordered it from CRK last summer sometime. I don't even remember what month.
It's as smooth as can be. Its a little on the tight side, but not what I would call stiff. I can thumb it open without too much effort. Locks up like a vault, though! I'm very please with it. I have a Zaan and a couple of other Large Sebenza and this is my new favorite Large. It's too big for me to EDC in an office environment so my EDC is still a Small Insingo. I'd love to have a Small 25 Insingo... hint, hint.

Probably because it's still brand new and the Umnumzaan is not new at all, the 25 takes a little more presure to open. It's as smooth as butter, it's just more like cold butter than warm. ;-) When the blade clicks open it locks with a firm, authoritative "clack". There is no vibration when it locks, this thing is solid!
 
Congrats! Nice photo too. My 25 came a little tight from CRK as well. I loosened the pivot a bit, and the action is perfect now, smooth as silk. The lockup didn't move a bit. Great knife, enjoy.

Sweet thx for the info. My 25 will be here friday and I was just curious because my Zaan took a lot of tinkering with to finally get it how I like it, I'm assuming the 25 will be in the same boat....
 
I would not anticipate the 25 needing any tinkering at all. It may be a little firm for the first few dozen open/close cycles and then loosen up to perfection.
 
My 25 was born same day Jan 31!! Mine too was a little stiff when I first got it but I loosened the pivot a bit and now all is well. My new favorite:thumbup:
 
Awesome! They are twins! ;)

It's definitely my new favorite Large. It would take a Small 25 Insingo to get my Small 21 Insingo out of my pocket, though. ;)
 
I'd love to see that Insingo 25 and some nice one pice inlays like on the Annual's. Don't get me wrong tho I love pln Ti:thumbup:
