This one was done by fellow forumnite mykulmorris. This one was made from a 12" Nicholson file temp'd down to 58-60rc.,10 1/2" long, 5 3/8" edge, 3/16" thick, cold blue finish, 4 3/4" Micarta handle 11/16" thk, 1/4" steel hollow pins, 7-8oz leather sheath. The hollow grind is purt near perfect and fif and finish is outstanding. The tip profile is very close to that of an older Marble Expert, more rounded than pointed which gives the tip strength...one of the reasons I bought it. The two finger grooving on the handle fits my hand like an old glove...very nice indeed. The sheath is some of the heaviest leather I have seen used for awhile and has wonderful "shoulder" graining.
Simply a fantastic knife, if you get a chance to buy from this maker do so, you won't regret it!
