Another really nice looking knife Dexter. Is this knife flat or hollow ground? Did I mention that I love recurve knives?

Thanks for the previews Dexter. Anticipation, next year cant come soon enough.

Shawn

Dexter,
Thanks for the great pictures of the Kershaws. to be honest I haven't been all that impressed with the looks of Kershaw knives in the past. Things are definatly changing!

Shawn

Shawn - I agree with you. Ken really has done a lot for Kershaw in terms of getting the company's name out there and pushing them into the high end production collaboration sector of the market. Looking forward to seeing more from this partnership in the future!

Sorry ,for the delayed response , been traveling
Yes it is flat ground and the steel is AUS8A handles will be contoured to fit the hand and the reason for the polimide is to use a good steel and still have a reasonable price .
Any other questions ?
Aloha!!!Ken Onion

Thanks, Ken. What type of sheath will accompany the Echo? The new catalog doesn't state specifically, maybe because at the time of printing that was not decided on yet? Any info you have on the sheath would be appreciated. Thanks!

I like a lot how it looks, nice addition to current small fixed blade's renaissance!
Thanks for info Dexter!
Ken, what kind of sheath are you planning for this baby? Kydex (or Concealex) with multi-position belt adapter, please!

This is exactly what I'm thinking too. A knife like this would look kinda wierd in a leather sheath

Sheath is still subject to change slightly but we will be offering it in a pouch type 7-8 oz leather and/or a multi carry kydex as I understand it. Were still getting quotes on each.I'll let you know more when I know more.

Aloha!!!

Thanks for the info, Ken. I hope that the multi-position carry Kydex is the one that's chosen. Even if it does raise the price of the knife, it wouldn't be thaqt much, would it? Considering the SRP of the knife already, should still be within reach of most knife consumers.
