OK, I have been lurking here for a long time reading posts and learning about the brand. I kept hearing about the quality. Frankly, I did see a standard large one in the mall at Advance Cutlery and wasn't impressed because the blade rubbed on the frame. I told the counterperson that and he said he would return it.

After owning several high end knives (Strider, Darrel Ralph, Busse, etc.) I finally broke down and bought one from True North Knives. It was the Web Sight model and I am impressed. First, TNK had great service and I dealt with the owner Neil, directly.

On arrival I was very happy with the fit at finish of the knife. It felt solid and substantial. Absolutely no blade play up down or side to side. This model gives me the best of both the inlay and computer graphics in one.

Let me say that I'm impressed and happy with my purchase and the CRK company's product.

Congrats on the Sebbie!!! That is a beautiful knife you have!! I love my Sebbie!! It is so good to have one again. I hope you love yours as much as I love mine.

Congrats on the new knife. I too have been lurking about, reading everyone's posts trying to justify a Sebenza purchase. It didn't take too long, and now I'm waiting for a Large lignum classic from New Graham Knives. Guess I'll stick around and keep an eye on things here, I just hope I can afford it. :D

Cliff,

Glad to hear that you like your Sebbie. Along with your FSH it will make a great combo.

That is a realy nice knife ERdept! I love the spyder web design. I also love the gem or rock in the hole. I am also a brand new first time oner of a Sebenza. I really love mine. I am wondering if any one has fabracated a gem or rock to put in the existing hole of a small Sebenza? I would like a small Hematite button to glue into my sebenza hole. I think it would look cool.

Sebs are great knives, but as soon as you purchase one, expect to lose about a 100 dollars immediately on the resale value. I don't even want to discuss the resale value of the fixed blades.

I was into collecting CRK for quite a while, not anymore. They do make a great user though.
