Another Newbie question.

On the measurements in the khukuri's specs there are two figures width and thickness.

Is the following correct:

1/. Width( eg: 2 1/2 inches ) - the widest part overall (ie on handle) ???

2/. Thickness( eg: 7/16 inch ) - the thickness of the blade spine closest to the handle ???

Is this right or have I got it completely wrong ?

PS:- today I recieved my brochure. Thankyou very much Uncle Bill, now I have the difficult task of deciding which one to get first

Width is widest part of the blade in chopping area.

Thickness is the max thickness of the blade at the spine.

I'd try a 15 or 18 inch Ang Khola first time out.

There is a diagram that both Howard and YVSA have for measuring the length of the blade, the grip and knife overall. Also how to determine the "drop".
Sounds easy but everyone uses slight variations and this makes life simpler.
Maybe they can post it for us.
