Hi,you people must be getting tired of these posts by now but I'll do it anyway. I've had a long time interest in knives (since 8 or so years old) and JUST started collecting,(as in more exspensive knives). My dad thinks it's the biggest waste of money, but I can't help myself, I HAVE to have knives :D

In my tiny collection my favorite is my SOG Seal.

I've said enough for now, thanks for reading

Welcome Daniel!
Don't worry, you are definitely not alone, here.
Waste of money? Nahh, just building equity a slower than usual:cool: .
FM.

Thanks for the friendly greetings.

About that waste of money thing, it's coming from a guy who's looking to buy his 18th car!!! and he's always telling ME that I have an obsession

I never get tired of new posters. Don't worry. If you want to buy 80 gazillion knives for no reason, we will understand. We will even encourage you. Good luck with the dad. Those SOG's are fantastic knives. They have a forum here too.

Hey Daniel, welcome to BF I know you'll like it here :) My first quality knife was a SOG as well though it now rests with some of my other "investments" lol. Peace, and I'll see ya around.

Welcome, Daniel.
I'm new here, too, and just developing this habit. I don't get to the Big City often to see knives in person, but was there last Monday. I must admit (sadly) that I am quite disappointed in several knives that I've lusted over on the internet, after finally seeing them in 3-D.

I don't want to name names, and maybe hurt someone's feelings, but the few SOG knives that I saw in person were a very pleasant surprise. I was never really attracted to them until actually seeing them. The photos I'd seen just did not do them justice. They didn't have a SOG Seal in the store, but I'm sure it's a great looking knife, if the ones I saw were any indication. Guess this is my long-winded version of "Howdy". :D
