I recently bought an RD 6 Bush, and was really happy with it, but the 6" blade is little overkill for day to day outdoors stuff around here, so I checked back where I bought it, and found the RD 4 Bush.

Well made, ambidextrous sheath, that fits tight enough the knife does not "rattle" around. (Sorry OKC, but I've got a few of yours that do) :)

I could see this being the basis of a great outdoors/survival kit.

I have thought about getting that knife more then once. Blade is 3/16" right?
How do you like the handle? I have heard it is kind of thick.

Yeah the "Bush" series knives are 3/16" 1095 instead on 1/4" 5160.

Handles are OK to me.

I have an old Ontario TAK 1 that I like quite allot . Same 3/16" thick 1095 blade that's about 4 1/2" long .

Have you even handled a TAK 1 and how do you think the two would compare ?

I got a Bush 6 and a 7 on the way. Yeah, I know, I am knife hoarder. Seems like the RBS-6 is getting very hard to find.
