I train extensively in Arnis De Mano (FMA stick fighting), so decided to make me some nice sticks when we butchered our Ash tree.
Sooooo . . . Fast forward a few days after construction, and they all developed cracks, despite gluing up the ends to prevent EXACTLY THAT !!! Ugggg.
My fault tho, since I cut them green and de-barked them way too soon out of pure impatience. I knew better, but i tempted fate.
Can anyone kindly PLEASE recommend a highly impact resistant epoxy that bonds with wood so i can fill the cracks ?
Given my haste, i foresee more cracks to come as the wood continues to dry.
Too many hits on google, so was hoping someone had some specific knowledge.
To whomever comes to the rescue, you are my hero !
Thx.
