my izula OD arrived a few weeks back...instantly fell in love with this little workhorse...razor sharp out of the "bag" :P ...i have small hands, so it fits my hand reaally nice...used it for som food prep..no prob there at all..some wood carving..a bit splitting...i guess nothing new to say about this fine little knife..also wanted to post some pics, but as i am new to this forum i probably need som more posts to be alloved posting pictures..hopefully soon.. :) ;)

I'll have my izula on the way when I can find a place that has the scales in stock for it.... Congrats 2 you!

congrats man. i love my izula, it's been doubling as one of my edcs as well as a steak knife lately. have you cord wrapped it or gotten scales? also how do you carry yours?

hi!
thank you for the idea of linking pics..going to do that...when i am in the city i usually have it in my backpack, which is always with me....so you could say it's my EDC..i also have a vnox spartan with me..in the outdoors i started to carry it on my neck, never had a neck knife before, so i wanted to try out this option..as long as i am not doing any climbing of sorts it's really nice..in some rougher terrain i just tuck in under my t-shirt...i really like the slim profile and the lightweight features of the izula, so i decided to wrapp it the most simple way...i used a 2mm red climbing cord..dont know if its the same as paracord...but i like it a LOT! :D . :P ok..go and try to get some pics in here.. ;)

 Great knife for EDC, camping, Hiking, feild dressing and even personal self defence. I have an OD and I am planning on putting some type of scales on it. I own alot of knives, but I will say my IZULA and ESEE-5 ARE MY TRUE HARD USE KNIVES.

+1

I dont have a -5 but i agree with everyhing you said:thumbup:

i must say a used a few folders before...the grip 550, the rat1 are really great folders, no complaints about them, but i never had the feeling that you get with a fixed blade...and finally here it is..a useable tough blade, that fits in your pocket...i love my vnox knives, but mainly for food prep, can opnening. etc..for the harder wood work the izzy is a great lightweight option... ;)

fastcamo, those Izula scales are in stock at KC. At least as of yesterday.
Hope this helps.

I can confirm that. I ordered 2 more pairs this morning from them (the-knife-connection.com). Get them while you can!

Got my first Rat Thursday and have used it a couple of times this weekend. Great knife and you hardly know its there untill you need it. Very sharp as mentioned above. Will hold on to this one for some time.
