Another Old Folder Project ~ Jowika 2 Blade

Well you might say I got the bug. So this might be my next project. Another knife from my Grandfather's tools. This one is in better shape than the Imperial I am almost finished with. But, plastic is plastic and the scales on this Jowika do look pretty cheap.

I can't make out the text on the side of the scales.

The pearl celluloid is a pretty neat material, imo. If you try to take it off, it will crack at the edges.
I have a suspicion that the "bolsters" are nickel plated. If you do much polishing, you will go through the plating.

Thanks Bill. Think I'll leave well enough alone and take your advice. I have two kit knives to put together for the son and son-in-law's birthdays. I'll start on those.
