Got this one in the mail today.
I designed this knife about 12 months ago and more recently asked Peter of Jensen Elite if he could grind it up for me.
The first time I handled this baby, I got the same feeling as when I handled my Gecko nekr' - it feels 'just right'...2 good designs from paper to steel from 50 or so aint bad!
The handle is slightly longer than normal to aid in chopping etc, and the balance is perfect! A nice chunk O knife for camp/utility and the more I use it, could even have good combat characteristics, so I'm told...
Thanks to Pete for bringing it to life for me!
6.5" cutting edge, 13" overall, 1/4" ATS34, V ground with false swedge and clip point. Sweeeeeeeeeeeet !
Forgot to mention the name! It is the 'Water Dragon'...hmmm, still not convinced, but it has an Aussie name and the lovely wife chose it, so, the WD it is...
