I didn't get to see the first one, it was pulled for some reason,(what the ....) but I did get to see this one in the mailbox when I got home today.

It's stamped Schrade-Walden N.Y. USA 173
I had almost forgot that I had put in a small bid for this a few weeks ago when it first came up, luckily I was the only bidder. A forum search of the 173 only yielded one hit from the (New and Improved) old school Schrade thread. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=380002&highlight=173
It fits rite in with the 175/182 patterns that I have taken a liking to lately.
Thanks Rick

Really nice to see one in the flesh and its a good looking one to boot.
Here is a look from the 1973 shortline.
