Another Pair Of Hikers

Here are a pair of Hikers, one in black micarta with red liners for Todd A, and one in cocobolo for riflmn. This was the last knife in cocobolo that I had scheduled, and riflmn even emailed me to tell me I could use another material, since cocobolo bothers me so much. I wanted to give it a try, and got some over the counter allergy pills to take. Now we will wait and see if the itching starts or not.

The both look great, I think I'm finally going to be able to get my hiker out in the "woods" this sunday if all goes according to plan.

If a reaction does start, a cold shower to get the remaining dust/oil off you would help. A hot shower is counterproductive as it further dilates the blood vessels and can increase the inflammatory response.

I did that and washed my hair as soon as I finished. So far, so good, no itching yet!
