another paring knife

Very popular with the ladies of the family. This one is for my wife's mother.

no fancy's just some decent wood and steel with a little polish was all she wanted.

What did you use for the blade?

Sorry it is 440C
Sycamore wood stained and super glued for color and finish.
About 6 3/4" OAL
"Notched" filework which is a squared rope pattern that extends onto the blade for grip.

yea i wanted better pictures but I didn't have time as my wife and her mom were inside where i normaly take the pictures so i couldnt do it there. Unfortounatly that is all the pics i have.

However that knife makes a good dinner salad!

Victorinox makes a sheath for their paring knife. Interesting idea?
