Hello,

we started a few weeks ago with 2 wooden Mnandi beauties, Snakewood and Box Elder Burl, in this thread:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-beauties-Mnandi-Snakewood-and-Box-Elder-Burl

Now its time for no. 3, the Bocote inlayed Mnandi. Here with raindrop damascus blade.

Enjoy.

Stefan

I always enjoy your posts with the outstanding photography. Thanks !!!!!

Nice pictures! The color and grain of your example is great:thumbup:

Thanks guys. Always appreciate your feedback.

I have the feeling, even for myself, that Bocote is a bit "underrated" among the wood inlays and people prefer Snakewood, Elder Burl, Gabon Ebony and Cocobolo over Bocote. But I think Bocote has its own character, particularely in combination with a damascus blade.
