we started a few weeks ago with 2 wooden Mnandi beauties, Snakewood and Box Elder Burl, in this thread:

I have the feeling, even for myself, that Bocote is a bit "underrated" among the wood inlays and people prefer Snakewood, Elder Burl, Gabon Ebony and Cocobolo over Bocote. But I think Bocote has its own character, particularely in combination with a damascus blade.
