Well, after the poll on your favorite Busse I thought it would be interesting to see what your most used Busse is? I have been watching the other Poll and am somewhat surprised about peoples favorite. Lets see if you surprise me again. ;)

Sorry if your most used isn't in the Poll, I only have limited space.

BTW, if you vote for a Badger, Steel Heart or Battle Mistress let us know if it is a Straight Handle or E series. Mine Is the BA-E, carry it all the time. ;):D

I love these threads :)

Most used is the BA-E, simply because it is with me all day every day. When hiking my BM-E gets her share of work and the BA-E gets a rest.

Assault Shaker - my 24x7 buddy!! Like Dark Nemesis said, "all day every day".

I own thirty-one Busse Combat Knives.

Thats how many I keep for myself.

Assault Shaker for cleaning trout

Straight handled Steel Heart for making shelter & cutting wood.

But it is the Basic #3 that I keep on top of the TV so I use it the most, opening mail, office supplies, boxes from Busse:D :D

I use it to cut roses for my sweety.

I use it to cut grapes.

I use it to pry the water-pump off of my Dodge diesel after I found out someone had put glue on both sides of the gasket.

And you know those plastic coverings that stuff like pens, carparts, and gunparts come in, where it's a piece of plastic on the outside and cardboard in the middle? I use the Basic #3 to somewhere between hack my way in, or sometimes just trace along the edges in order to get in. I use it to cut twine when I'm tying things up, I use it to trim green twigs from my fruit trees for use in my smoker. I use it to trim the top of the door if it sticks, and to scrape off anything that needs to be scraped, whether it's paint from the edge of a lock, or gasket material from an engine block. I've used it to score metal fuel line before I break it by hand.

That's as much as I'm willing to type. I'm tired now.

P.S. I use the Basic #3 more than I use all thirty other Busse's that I own combined.

RokJok, yep I forgot about the AS, she's around my neck at all times as well. It so comfortable and light I usually end up forgetting I have it on and reach for the BA-E :)

For most often used, I'd have to say my DW Mean Street. It's small enough and light enough to pretty much always have with me, either in my tool bag, tool belt, or on the workbench.

For hardest used, it would be my early straight SHII, cutting, chopping, prying, digging, etc.

The two have really been a great combination, a synergy of nuclear INFI. :D
