A Queen thread I was reading a few minutes ago has prompted me to ask for a little information and whatever comments you care to make about one of my old favorites. I think it was in the summer of 1969 that I bought a fairly large slipjoint made by Queen. Without pulling it out of where it's stashed, I'd say it's about 4.25 to 4.50 inches closed, it has one large spear point blade and one pen (?) blade, both on the same end, a large-ish nickelsilver (?) bolster on that end, a smaller bolster on the opposite end, and what appear to be jigged bone scales treated to resemble stag. It's nowhere near abused, but I did carry it for a number of years so it's nowhere near pristine, either. It's just one of those artifacts that I've become attached to over the years because it works well, suits my personality, and fits my hand. I think this pattern is called an English jack, but I could be wrong. Any input you'd like to offer will be appreciated.

Sounds like an English Jack....Queen made a LOT of those with a clip master blade, it was the #28 pattern. The spear is more rare and is the #29 pattern. Could be be real winterbottom bone or winterbottom delrin depending on when it was made.

On the subject of Queen, are their reverse peanuts any good? How would they compare to Case? I want an elegant but useable peanut badly.
