There's not THAT many.

There are two main types; the Satin Jack, which is also known as the SHSJ (straight handle satin jack), and the Satin Jack TAC (SJTAC). Unless I am leaving something out (maybe an ERGO SJ?), all other Sj's out there, are only variations of these two designs.

Here is the basic SJ:

Here is the SJTAC:

The original SJ, (which some now call the SHSJ, although that should not be necessary) came in two thicknesses. 3/16" and 1/4"

In either form, the Satin Jack is a sweet knife. I'd love one of those original ones, in a nice Bama Clay...

These were my two, let a HOG friend of mine have the top on. they are both 3/16 in thickness. the Grips on both say Busse combat which is unique. for the $ the HG55 actually feels better in the hand and has that straight handled look. But due to desirability, they go for quite a bit.

It makes me grit my teeth to hear SHSJ. At the time it was in the catalog, it was touted as the only straight handle that Busse had. This was during the ergo era. So calling it a SHSJ is redundant since it was never anything but a straight handle.

The new styles are a different animal.
