Another question for Joe

I just bought a 110 from a board member that is etched on the blade as the 40th year of the 110 and has a picture of Chuck on the green handle. I can't find it listed in the catalogs.

Was it a special projects knife for some vendor like SMKW's? I don't have the knife yet so this is the best I can do as far as a picture.

yes, it was a SMKW project. It is addressed in an article on Buck Family knives in the March 2009 club newsletter.

Seems to me it was done just before we left Cal. 2003 would have been the 40th anniversary of the 110 so it fits. Cool knife and Chuck got a chuckle (pardon the pun) out of the little picture of him on the handle.
