I'm not sure if you are aware, but i am putting together a special 3 knife (BK15, BK16, BK17 FPR) set for my daughter, in a custom made presentation box. At the 2012 WNY Knife Gathering Toooj was nice enough to sign them for me on one side(with a silver sharpie). I would love it if you would sign the side that had the laser engraved "first production run" & "your laser engraved signature" on it. I would have to send them to you, as we will probably never meet in person. That sure would be nice of you to do. Her name is TwinStickJr on the forum. She is not very active. I am working on that. Kids.

Please let me know if you could do that & how you want them sent, if you will.

Thanks

Mike.

I have not even started on the presentation box yet, sorry. I don't have a table saw yet. She is 17 now. Hoping to be totally done before her last year of college. In no hurry, but Uncle Ethans signatures are an important part of this. Hope he comes through. My daughter is as sold on BK&T & KaBar as i am. I stressed the importance of getting stuff "Made in the USA" when you can afford them, & Beckers are made for the Blue Collar working class. Proof positive that America still makes a Heavy Duty, quality product, for a reasonable price.

I won't speak for Ethan but this probably would have been better handled via email or private message. Kinda looks like you put him in a spot here.
Personally I would love to have him sign my Camillus 7's & my 10. But I don't think I would ask unless we met in person and that is very likely. He has two gatherings a year at his home and goes to blade and shot shows + a number of other shows.
So, if you really want to meet him and are able to travel you probably will meet him before your daughter graduates from college.

Not likely for me until after i retire---maybe. Having kids in college, is tough on personal life. My money does not come easy. Travel to other states is not a reality right now. I have e-mailed him. With no response. I saw he answered someone else, so i asked the question. Did i break some rule unknown to me ? If so, i'm sorry. I am a direct kind of person. If i have a question, i ask it, thats how you get answers. If one avenue fails, i try another. That simple for me. I am not very computer savvy. I don't know how to private message. I can e-mail. As far as answering for him, it seems as if you did a pretty good job, even though you won't speak for him. I'm just sayin'.

Hey Twinstick.....

Of course I would be delighted to do that for your daughter......Not much I won't do for a second generation friend of Becker knives.......Email me @ bekerkt@gmail.com with a phone number......

All Best .....

Ethan
