Another Question

I am biased but how about a few of the XD-XM Tactical Bowie? Make some with wood handles and hollow steel pins to keep the price lower - and offer the fancied up versions on request.

As far as sellers go - the TK has been a popular knife, and they seems to get a lot of oohs and aaahs in ironwood. Make a few with micarta scales and faux bolsters and unique pin placements. Pretty up the handles, smooth them and polish them.

Then offer them for a price that has enough profit in it to make it worth your while.

best

The TK would definitely tempt me. Those little tin knives are inexpensive enough to be an impulse buy item.

TKs and Bluegills are great little knives that everyone should own.

I agree with the above also maybe the baby Canadian belt knife? I think wood choice makes a big difference on an impulse buy as well maple burl, ironwood, zircote are some that always catch my eye

Hi JK,

Firstly, I hope your sweet little Grandaughter Hanna is doing well, she has a beautiful smile!
OK.....today (while searching/researching) the #1 Canadian Belt Knife, I came across you're Custom take on this old design.
All I can say is WOW! Simply stunning! I LOVE it! I want one, however, I can not afford one. That being said, I will shortly be contacting you (via Mail) for a possible swap/trade I'm hoping that may (or may not) interest you. I figure it's worth a shot. Keep up the good work and my best to lil' Hanna.

Regards,
HARDBALL aka Tom

I like the idea of Toby's knife or the small knives you did in orange with the lanyard/ key chain thing. Think you said your wife made those. Also a big fan of the gallywag just never pulled the trigger on one.

Choppers seem to sell pretty quick on the custom individual & makers parts of the exchange here.
I'd test the market with one big knife along with what ever regulars you decide to make.
Perhaps make a chopper out of the other half of the hawk billet instead of two hawks?

michigan trail knife, riverwoods companion, trapline, pocketmuk, TK

thanks.

I was thinking along those same lines. Watch the exchange and see what people are buying and make those.
The Tool
Toby's Knife
Rule #9
Pocket muk
Semi wharncliff edc

That's the ones that really jump out at me.
Add the Michigan Trail Knife to this list.
Of course, I am biased but I think the Rule #9 is the best all around knife I've ever handled.
