Does BUCK still product M9, I heard BUCK producted m9 for both military use and commercial one, what is the difference between them and what is the difference between BUCK m9 and Ontario one? Thanks alot in advance for your reply.

The basic difference between the military and the commercial M9 was the tang stamp. The military version had M9 (large) and the porpoise
shape that was made up of the letters, PHROBIS (the designers of the M9). The version Buck sold had the 188 tang stamp instad of the M9 stamp.
They sell here for $300-$400 now. $1200 sounds like a lot of any form of money.

is there any difference between the material of BUCK military bayonet and the commercial one?

They were both made with the same materials. One other diference between the military and commercial versions was a saftey stop on the wire cutter plate of the commercial. We added this stop to help prevent an over rotation of the blade while using the wire cutter. This made sure the user did not cut off his/her fingers! The Army did not want any changes to their version so we only did it to the commercial one.
