And THAT is why custom knives will never be outdated!

The outcome was better than I imagined. Nicely done, Horacio!

I always enjoy threads showing a step by step process... very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome. You should start a class on leathercraft. With skill like that, I'd bet you would have a ton of interest.

It is with no small sense of pride, that I tell all you guys that, that very knife and sheath is in my display case in my shop right now. That P L you see braided into the sheath is ME! It's even more beautiful in person and the rawhide threads (tientos) are tiny thin.

Well, with Paul's acknowledgement gives it tribute of the highest order.

It's no surprise to me that a sheathmaker would find this particular work so very captivating and extraordinary.

Congrats, Paul! :D

First of all I want to thank you all this kind comments.
I want to tell you that it was an honour to me to make a work especially for Paul. That knife already had a sheath but I wanted to make one particularly for him for what it means as a sheathmaker, apart from that he is a real Gentleman. Paul the honour is all mine...

Horacio

This was the previous sheath...
