Another Rayster home run!

So I am sure you have all seen my Mini Roadhouse that Rayster and ReK brought back from the dead. Well I also sent Ray a Mini Comm to put some scales on. I decided a Tan G10. Ray does an awesome Job matching the "ghostlines" in the G10 when contouring.

I think even though this one is just a simple or maybe not so simple set of g10 scales it really looks good. Sorry Guys and Gals I suck at taking pictures.

Congrats Fstcarsknives!!! Indeed; that is very nice work!! That color combination looks very nice, similar to the desert edition but different, very cool. I've been seeing Ray's work in other threads and it is very artful, awesome looking, I can't imagine how it feels on hand, must be sweet.

It has a very unique feel, fits the hand nicely. I love the contouring.

That's what I thought; maybe I'm wrong but I seem to remember the older Emersons had more rounded edges on the G10 scales; I tried to make my Horseman melt in my hand by sanding the edges of the scales and I loved the results, probably voided the warranty in the process, but I like it anyway.

By the way, I just bought a couple of supers! I'll post when I get them, nothing to do with your thread though , sorry for the derail.
 
/\ sweet Mak. I have defer to rayster on the warranty. I dont know if just sanding the scales will void the warranty. I know modding the liners surely will.

About the only thing you can do to the scales without killing the warranty IMO is "softening" the abrasiveness of the honeycombish texture with a few passes of high grit sandpaper. Altering the bevel or the edges into a radius voids the warranty as that classifies as a alteration.

Super's are cool! Like my Super-Comm BTS. Yeah, whatcha get?

Thanks for the info! That's good to know. I'm getting a super desert roadhouse and a super 8!! I can't wait. I will post pictures as soon as I get them. I'm an addict.

Finally ! Appreciate it S.T.R. kind of... Part of me is jealous . Mr E needs to have a look in here we need this knife ! Love it ! Seriously I know I'm going full blown school girl here but man that is awesome .
