to buy an Emerson knife.
Think: Loveless, Dozier, Hartsfield and there are others who radically changed the knife world. Ernest is in this group.
So, when you get an Emerson knife, this piece of history comes with your knife.

Yes. ^
btw, I just recently learned about the Emerson chisel "Edge," not the chisel grind. If I would have known about this from the start, I would have picked up a Commander years back. The chisel thing is my bag.

You said, "Emerson chisel Edge, not the chisel grind", Please Splain as Rickey Recardo say.

Even when an Emerson doesn't have a chisel grind (in other words it has a V-grind), it still has a chisel edge. That is to say it is sharpened only on one side and then stropped on the other.

Without a doubt. It's part of the appeal for me.

Thanks guys.
DrFish explained the chisel edge vs chisel grind, penny. Thanks, Dr.
And I agree, the Emerson knife is just badazz.

Tom Krein reground my CQC7 to a zero grind and it was, without a doubt, one of the sharpest knives I ever experienced. Including my Hartsfields.
Who else has experienced a zero grind blade?

i have a CQC7 pimped by Peter Grey and rebladed by Rossi with a beautiful polished zero grind.
crazy sharp

Thanks mun. ^
fwiw; Phill Hartsfield told me that a V grind and a chisel grind can be equally sharp. I agree.
I want to also thank Sal Glesser and Chris Reeve, at this time, for changing the knife world.
