Hey Robbie,
Got another knife with your name on it from Chris via the brown Christmas truck today. Has a guthook blade & saw blade.
Looks like another winner.
It came in the new leather sheath, and this sheath is one of the best one-handed designs I've ever seen.
Now we're waiting for the next models: one standard non-serrated blade/saw blade, one blade totally serrated/one blade no serrations, one standard blade/one tanto blade, one standard "white" blade/one standard blackened blade, and the Beverly Hills Model with two different grits of emory board blades for manicures.
Got yours yet?
Denis

Dpris, you got what ! Wow, what a nice late Christmas gift !

No, I don't get one, I guess I've been bad or extra bad, since you got yours first :( , I talked to Spencer last week and he said mine was on the way :D , Since I live way over here in the east, I guess mine will be here friday or saturday I hope.

We will have to give the emory board model some more thought, don't think it is quite ready yet, but the others should be along any day :D .

Really glad you like the gut hook Hunter, I think it will be very well liked. It is a really good looking knife, but very useful too. Keep me posted on your first hand thoughts or opinions. The sheath is a fine looking piece of work.

Congrats Robbie, I hope this one is as populare or more than the SEAL Revolver. Mine is seeing quite a bit of use in the kitchen now adays and it's going strong.:D

Hi Robbie,
I had planned to do something with the SEAL last year, but it arrived too late to be included in the backcountry series of photos we were doing. When I talked to Chris at the SHOT Show he said he'd send one of the first Hunter models with that new brown sheath, and now I've got two to include when we get started on the photo sessions again in a couple weeks. Finally got rid of the snow here.
I thought you get the first ten of every model that has your name on it, yours must be on the way. That's one to use and nine to frame on the wall. :D

Hi Heber,
I do have a SEAL, and the new Hunter should appeal quite a bit to those who like a lightweight hunting knife with a guthook and a saw blade. The leather sheath is great, and if I can't get Chris to tell me who makes them so I can try to get a couple made for some of my other knives, I'll have to shamelessly get somebody to copy them for me.
Unfortunately, during our computer breakdown a couple months back we lost our Photo Shop program, and the camera I use takes digital photos that're way too big to send via email without being reduced, which we can't do now, so I can't help you with a photo.

Denis

Dpris, that sounds really good, glad the snow is gone, it's early spring here but still cool. I know the pics will be great, and I hope you can take one with a lizard on the blade ! :D
I don't know why I keep thinking a lizard on the blade, but I had a dream someone took a pic of the Revolver lying on a rock in a stream, and it had a small lizard on the blade  , is this a sign I'm losin it ?
Oh well, guess I just keep hoping someone will get some really extra good pics of wildlife with the knife. No, I'm not on medication, just thyroid pills, but I don't think that would cause dreams of lizards, would it ? I been taking them for years, maybe I need to cut back . :( .
I know, how about a leech :D , lizards are pretty fast and you don't need to be jumpin around in a creek bed scratchin for a lizard. :p .

Boy, I wish I had ten of them first ones, that would be nice, except I already have about 45 people waiting on them to get here, so they would not last long.

Heber, STOP abusing that Revolver cuttin them veggies ! If you keep doing that, you will get a piece of carrot hung in the hole, and then what will you do !
