Blade full height convexed. Zero edge. Swedge sharpened.
High Polish hand finished. Handle cord wrapped and rubber dipped.

Feels like a knife now not a hammer. Grip feels great in lots of different grips.
Excellent control and improved comfort. Somehow I bet I am the only one that likes it. :D I wish you guys could feel this handle...

Two words: BAD-ASS. Love that mod...it's very original and looks to be very functional as well! I'll bet it'll be a lot nicer to carry to boot!

I like it....do you have any experiences - how durable is the rubber-dip-thingie?

I will go against the grain and say I am not a fan of how far the dip goes up, something about that line clashes with my eye. I have used that rubber dip before and it is comfortable so I will say its a good idea. Not saying its ugly, just not all for me.

Many colors?? So some of the guys can get pink dipped knives???

Nice job. Interesting mod. I like the feel of the handle, myself. I just wish it were a bit lighter to bring the balance more to the choil-area.

WOW!! Holly smokes I was very hesitant to post this one. It is so different from the original that I was sure that you guys would hate it.

THANKS!

To answer some questions...

Duribility... I think this handle is going to be VERY tough. That rubber fills all the gaps in the cord making it rock solid. It also soaks into the cord.

No I did not skeletonize the handle. I just wrapped it with a twist on each side.

I am real grateful to Busse for producing this knife and selling it at a price we can afford to buy extras of and Mod.

I think the SAR5 was a big win for everybody.

I really want to pick up another Hell Razor for this same handle treatment.
