Just got back from school and there was a package with the khukuri (16.5" WWII) scabbard that I'd sent to Sandi to make a covering for. Well I opened it up and wasn't disappointed. The cover Sandi did for my scabbard fits like a glove. The cover is a light brown that goes nicely with the frog.

I'm planning to go on a camping trip with my bro and a cousin in ten days (though if it doesn't warm up around here we'll have to postpone

), so this cover will be good for protecting my scabbard from dings and dirt.

I'd recommend Sandi's work in a heartbeat!

Is Sandi still doing the covers? This post reminded me of them and I went to the site to check, and the Sarki Shop looks really closed down now. I know they stopped making scabbards, but?

Big Bob, I'm glad you liked the sheath cover. My little wife does some good work. I'm gonna have her make a cover for my M-43.

Uncle, I am still doing the canvas covers but the rest of the shop has been closed. If anyone has any to be done please e-mail before shipping. I like to watch the mail closely when expecting a package.

I hated to hear that they had closed down also. I had been planning on sending my Reiger Khukri to Terry for a speed sheath. I guess that the saying, "You snooze you loose", fits my situation there. Oh well, family is of the highest value and I don't blame Terry at all. We must care for our familys first! Maybe if Terry ever starts up again, I will get that Reiger to him.
