I've been more than pleased with Vadim's work on some sheaths he's made for me and here's a new one that he just made for my HI 21" GS with a HI letter opener piggy backed on it. Excellent work and a very fair price. He's done all my sheaths with computer scans from me, no need to send in the actual knife which is nice. I highly recommend him!

I haven't gotten it yet, those are Vadim's pics that he send out before he ships/confirms that you like it. Here's another sheath he did for a set of stag handled hunting knives. The wood knife in the pic is one he carved out to make sure it would fit in the sheath right based on the scans I sent him. He's very talented! He makes me want to buy more knives so he can make sheaths for them :)

Both of these I asked to be plain, since they were to be users, unlike my tooled sheath he made for my damascus Khuk.

How does he manage that Loupo? Are the scans too scale? Any scan I've ever seen isn't accurate enough too make a sheath from. :eek: :confused:
 
Fantastic lookin sheaths, I still am thinkin about a kydex one for my 20 Inch Sirupati. Maybe even a shoulder rig.

How do you get in touch with Vadim? Is he a member of BF? I have a khukuri that might need a new sheath.

Yvsa, when I scan the knife blade I put a ruler next to it. He resizes it to scale and makes it work :)

His username is Vess, I believe. All I've seen have been his spyderco and Chris Reeve sheaths, but this khuk sheath is spectacular!!!!

Indeed it is!!!! And the man's talent seems too know no bounds since he is able to see a scan with a ruler and make a sheath that fits.:cool: Nothing I would EVEN ATTEMPT to try!!!! :eek:
 
Really nice looking sheath, I've gotten a couple of sheaths from Vladim and his work is great :D :D
 
BROTHERS & SISTERS,
Vess has done quite a few sheaths for me for my Guntings,some Special Forces Operators who carry the Gunting also use his sheaths,if you need a sheath (in leather)for ANY blade he is the man to see.
Great guy to deal with,fair,honest & prompt.

Beautiful stuff. I like the piggy backing going on there. I'm thinking maybe a side/by/side AK Bowie & JKM might be kind of nice. All one sheath, nice and neat. Those two might be a little much for a piggy back, but make a nice set to have together.
