Another Sheath Qestion for codger

Will any og the original sheaths(if I can find one) fit my Golden Spike? I'm not sure how old my knife is till it comes. I'd hate to buy one and it wouldn't fit. Were there any differences over the years?

I can't tell you that for sure. The blading on the newer ones (after they went to stainless) is thinner. The blade is sabre ground .165 1095HC carbon steel before mid 1995, then afterward .135 440A stainless Schrade+ steel hollow ground. I'm afraid I don't have an example of the last sheath to try the earlier blade in. Someone here does though.
