Another short walk

this just an excuse to post some random pictures really without flooding the pictures thread, feel free to join in

I just took a short walk to the creek again today, but I've also been taking a few more pictures again though lately so thought I'd share some

I'm out of leather for sheaths right now so I was playing with ideas for what to do with some more flexible stuff I had laying around, found this cheap baton with on of those cheap foam handles and decided it might be fun to replace it, it was

It's a little too short for a walking stick but it came in useful for pushing the long crass and overgrown branches out the way, plus we're still not out of snake season yet and we tend to get a lot of them around the creek. (for me, 5 in one season is a lot, Remember i come from a place where there are none, and I can't get used to the idea no matter how much I read about them)

The one I made (shows all it's faults when next to the professionals, so I hide them with the angle ) a JK sheath and two RG sheaths

Got some more leather today and fixed a new sheath, trying some new things, kinda like it, , now I think about it I probably could have put the hiker in this picture instead of the BK16, sorry about that, it's the 16 that needs the sheath is all
