I did some more experimenting with color on this one. The backspacer is made in 2 pieces and double anodized blue/gold before and after the filework. Other specs in the photo. Thanks for lookin!

What exactly is sea cow bone ????? It looks very fancy.....

I'm not an real up on this subject, but to my understanding this sea cow bone is from an extinct animal that was similar to a sea lion?? The bone is fossilized and is similar to mammoth ivory in texture. Thanks to all for the kind remarks!

The Steller's Sea Cow was the largest of the order Sirenia of which the Manatee is a member. It was hunted to extinction in the late 1700s.
