Just got word that the A G Russell Show will no longer take place. I drive a long way to see this show, it's always one of the best. I hope someone will pick up the time slot and put on a show. I know these shows take a lot for the promoters but without knife shows it will make it hard to get new blood into knifemaking.

Blade Show West, AG Russell, TKCA Round Rock Texas Show and several other had died in the past few years. Wow the shows are dying fast. even TKCA association has gone under and Last year. The Lonestar show was in a Gun show and the attendance was really low for the knife folks. How much more can the Custom knife making industry take. We will end up like the Custom Harmonica folks only 1 show a year! Is it the internet or costs or the gun shows taking over? any ideas?

Oh no! I was hoping to go next year. I'm fairly close. Wow, sad day. I always heard great things from their shows.

What a bummer ! The wife and I have gone to the last four shows, and allways looked forward to the next.
Although from the weak attendance (we allways arrived mid day Saturday) I can understand.
CRAP !
