another SOG Tech II in the collection ......

Got lucky and found a Tech II for reasonable price. It was plenty dull upon receipt, but it didn't take long at all to get it back to razory sharpness. I've always been a big fan of the handle, the material a bit soft and is very "grippy" and non-slip. And I've never tired of "the look."

Congrats. You can never have enough Seki Sogs. lol
Does yours have an "s" above the "Seki Japan"?
Mine is also a EDM WA one with no "S". After discussions on this board I put white vinegar on the blade and it quickly reacted turning color. That's how I discovered that the old TECH II that I bought was actually an earlier SK5 "TECH".

Always did prefer the shorter tech.
Had that interesting sloped choil detail too.

Yes, my new one has an "S" above Seki.

and SK5 is a favorite steel of mine, so your "TECH" is no slouch. Way Cool !!

p.s. as for food: I cut up a couple of racks of ribs yesterday ..... a Tech II is always excellent Tactical Tableware.
