Another SPEC-OPS Mod.

Sometimes I like to carry my blade a little higher than the drop leg Spec Ops Combat Master sheath normally carries. So I decided to try a quick mod. Here is what I did.

I just used some para-cord to secure the looms down. A simple knot, while secure, is completely reversable. That way I can easily switch to whatever carry mode I prefer. It feels real secure. :thumbup:

I have tightened it up a little more and it rides really nicely on my belt, which BTW I need a new one. It just seemed like an easy way to make the most out of an awesome sheath.

Cool mod. I've often looked at the drop sheaths and tried to finagle ways of doing that.

And yes, you do need a new belt. Somethin double-thick.

Thats an interesting mod, I personally do not like to carry stuff that high but it doesnt look too uncomfortable.

hi from the uk,cool pictures,great quality,i have been doing that over here for some time now,but i thread the paracord through the eye in the nylon,i thought this is what the two eyelets were for!! cheers regards nigel.

I've got one with a BAe that was rigged up that way! and its been cut shorter as well. I'll try toget a pic eventually.
