Another Spyderco Solo, customized??

I posted earlier about a Solo I recently purchased. A very early model (rising Sun, moon).I also have this one with black Micarta on one side and wood on the other. The cowboy had is actually inlay with brass pins for the hat band. It's a beautiful piece.

I was wondering if anyone had any information on this. Was the wood/cowboy hat custom work after production? Thanks.

Sorry, I have no related info... but the inlay work on that hat looks incredible! Wow.
