Another Spydie spotting

I was watching Man vs. Food tonight and when Adam Richman was in Charleston, South Carolina, he is eating some steamed oysters. To pop the oyster out of the shell (cut it off the surface) he is using a Spyderco Military. Plain edge, black G10 and black blade. I just shouted "SPYDERCO MILITARY!" and my roommate responded "God dammit, Greg..." I just thought I'd share another Spyderco spotting.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Alton Brown uses a Spydie Delica in some of his Good Eats episodes on the Food Network. I remember one episode in particular where he was cutting something in the produce section of the supermarket "on the sly" and illustrating what you should be looking for in whatever produce it was (garlic if I recall correctly). There were several good flashes of the Delica, including one-hand Spyderhole deployment. Kind of neat. He wears watches in the 4000 dollar range, rides an expensive motorcycle (BMW I think), yet carries a 60 dollar Spydie. Apparently it's all about performance. :)

I've seen Alton with a Sog Architect(with the bone handle, the expensive one), Spyderco Salt I think it was (in the Feasting on Waves series), Kershaw Blur in the Feasting on Asphalt series, and of course his Classic and Elite Shuns. He's a huge knife and watch guy. I haven't seen the episode with the Delica yet, I need to get my hands on more Good Eats episodes that means.
