Here's my latest folder. Trying to get some bugs worked out so I can make a few of these for customers. Getting closer, but there's still a few things I want to change.

I know the pics aren't too good. The filework on the blade is my makers mark as usual, and there is also some filework on the back spacer.

I guess I'll throw some specs in here:
All .125" thick 440C stainless steel, all hardened (both slabs, spacer and blade)
Thumbstud is a brass pin with copper tubing peened together, pins through the spacer are also brass.
Closed length is 4-3/4" ....Blade is 3-1/2"
Clip (large stainless) and pivot (3/16") are from TKS.
This thing is awful heavy, but carries pretty well. Has a nice heft in your hand when you're using it too.

So what do you think?
Thanks for looking :)

I like the very simplistic nature of it. Looks like a perfect EDC knife. Polish it up all shiny and I wouldn't mind having it in my pocket all day. :)

Good job.

Matt getting good!!

I think a plain handle would look better.

Look forward to seeing more.

I think having your fileworked makers mark is good enough. The huge name on the handle looks a little garish to me.

...now, if each knife purchaser could have his/her name done like that, it might make for a unique selling point.

Yeah, the handle isn't meant as my mark. I've been EDC'ing this and thought I'd give engraving a try. Didn't want to do anything too elaborate like a picture for my first one, so I stuck my name on it.The layout was to minimize the amount of material I had to remove.
I could do a customer's name or initials I suppose, but at this point I think I'll wait until I have something better than a 10 year old dremel to do it with. It was a little on the slow side, not to mention clumsy, and the smoking motor got a little annoying  ;)

Thanks for looking, appreciate the feedback as always :D
