I noticed a flaw in my new SnG. When the blade is closed it over laps the lanyard hole so if I was to use a lanyard the blade would cut it when the knife was closed.
Are your SnG's also like this? It does not appear the lanyard hole can be moved to get out of the blades way or vice versa......good thing I don't use a lanyard!

its not a flaw, all SnGs are made that way as well as SMFs. You simply put your lanyard through one side only and viola problem solved.

 True. Mine are the same way and I believe that Strider's web site FAQs address that. Slip the lanyard through one side or the other, but not both. It'll be fine that way.

I've EDC,ed my favorite SnG for about 4 years now with the same lanyard. Yeah, I tend to find one I like and keep it (knives and lanyards). I have the lanyard threaded through the Ti side.

Anyway, the blade has only abraded just a tiny amount against the cord, certainly not enough to be concerned about. At this rate, I'll have to replace the lanyard in about ten years.

Great knives those Sng's.

Cheers,
dan :)

Thanks guys! Glad it is not a design flaw! And here I was thinging I was all smart! LOL

Use a piece of paracord through the titanium side and you'll get years of service out of it.
