Another Stupid question

No questions are dumb here. We just look for answers :D

There are several uses of a paracord D-guard. First, they make grip security complete (your hand will NOT slip off, backwards or forwards), they make choping more comfortable, powerful, and safe (they allow you to choke down, increasing power, you don't have to hold onto the knife as strongly, improving comfort, and you are still more secure than usual IMHO). Also, they protect your knuckles (depending on their width) pretty well, very nice for when chopping nettles and briars.

Also, since the sheath strap goes through them, D-guards improve the sheathe's security (not by a whole lot, but hey :D ).

Also, they look  !

I see... Sounds like I better take up braiding lessons! :D

I think preventing my hand from slipping off the handle is a good enough reason to put it on. :)

I'll have to try it out.
