The last MUDD ZT0500 I had I worked on the clip and rebent it them trimmed it so that it would all fit on the right hand side of the knife, making it more secure. The fact is I keep a very tight pivot and when opening the MUDD the clip has some movement in it due to the way it is made. So, on this go round I did something different. This time I bent the clip in and down, so that the top part would fall within the cutouts on the back of the frame. This meant that I had to elongate the current hole so that the entire clip assembly would sit deeper. After that I cut the pocket part of the clip so that only about 1.5" of pocket clip is present, rebent the tip and rounded it off. Now there is no movement and the clip sits lower on the handle and is not readily noticeable, not that it was before I did this, just less now. Still functions well and holds as well as before.

Oh how I wish I could. I am actually working on doing just this though and will take some pics if able. I think one simple picture would sum up what I've tried to explain.
