I recently bought a 560 titanium and love it. In fact I even got Joe to put on a champane buckoted blade! But now for my question. Do you think that you could make a titanium version of the 112?

No opinions anyone? I also thought that you could put a clip on it and it would make a great utility pocket knife.

I like the idea of a 112 titanium! I would probably carry it in my pocket though. Now you got me thinking.

Hello, how did you get Buck to change the blade?, is this a common practice? Can I send my 560 in and have the blade replaced with another one, like in BG-42? (for a price of course). Thank you for any help.

Yeah, Joe did it so I would talk to him about it. And joe, how could we get buck to think about making this titanium 112?

Yes, I can have the blade changed out for you. Email me and i will give you the details. As far as the 112 in titanium, it seems like a great idea to me. I will submit the idea to the guys that can make it happen and see what they think. I am sure the tooling will be very expensive and they have to guestimate on weather or not there is enough demand for it.

Hey Joe- any progress? About how long to usually get a knife from planning to production?

Trying is just a noisy way of not doing something.

Unfortunately, the only "progress" i can make on this is to suggest it. After that point i rely on the expertise of those in cahrge of that aspect of the business. If they run with it or if it gets shelved, only time will tell. We plan a few years out, as far as new products go so it can take a while.
