Here are some pics of my new Tyrade ya'll! This is the one we will be passing around, so get a good look! I included pics of the clip side, and some comparison shots, so it should please everyone. :D

This is a great knife; very comfortable, lightweight for its size, VERY sharp, and the lockup is solid.

Looks great!
I like the fact that the copper used to weld the blade together shows up so well. It wasn't really too clear that it would; in the preproduction shots it showed up in some and not in others.

that is awsome Jeremy. i will have to try to use another camera and see if i can get better pics than what my cam gets. i love how you compare everything to LEEKS!

wow, way better than my thread and shots... I need to practice with the camera. CONGRATS ON THE SCORE! the knife is very cool!

I don't think I'm eligible for the pass around so I have some questions until I'm able to see one at my local gun show if one turns up.
How much does the carbon fiber inlay stand off? What I'm trying to get at is does it cause any hang up going into the pocket?Could you post a pic of thickness compared to the leek and others.Does it come with the carry bag?Would you say the handle is slick, smooth, have an anodized feel, rough or somewhere in between?

By the way Thanks for the pics.

VERY NICE!! I like the fact that the blade is labeled with both the steels in the blade, so there is no "guessing".

they didn't label the copper though... :thumbdn: ha! I do have question that I'm sure there's a thread somewhere that answers it in 3D: but I'm just kinda stumped on the choice of 154CM. I get the points about metals being able to "play together" during heat treatment etc etc... and it's not that I'll be prying a door open with it any time soon, but wouldn't you want a tougher (or more flexible) choice for the spine? And how strong is the copper bond in a prying situation? Again, doesn't affect me... but there are some crazy knife users out there and someone might just assume they can get their moneys worth out of use

The carbon fiber comes up about one millimeter, but it does kinda hang up when going INTO to pocket, but it keeps the knife secure in the pocket. The knife comes with the carry bag, and the handle is anodized titanium, so there is a very slight texture.

This is getting ridiculous. For almost 4 years I carried Coldsteel Gunsite tanto folder. It served me well until it started to have alot of blade play then the clip finally gave way.So after Finding a Leek that I gave to a friend I found myself always asking to "lemme see your knife"I thought if they made something bigger(i have large hands)so i bought the full sized tanto cyclone. Then I just got a mini cyclone, well he went and bought a blur. Now I want the blur.On my search for the blur I came across the Zt301.DAMN!So i started saving for one of those.I still am looking for my S30v grey blur. Now I see this knife and I just know I want one too.
I'n the past year I've bought 1 coldsteel,1 boker,2 kershaws and 4 different flashlights.What's happening to me?Kershaw I love you....let me go.

Finally, I get to see a clip side pic of the Tyrade.....THANKS! I believe I can live with that clip.:D

Can you post a clip side of the knife???

I think that was a party killer. sorry. bad joke.

Does anyone have an opinion about my blade steel question above??? I would assume this was thought out, and tested. I just haven't seen it discussed

Mine sticks up more, easily 1/16". a little sticky as already mentioned. Good point
