Here's an excellent Garud AK by Durba, aboaut 20 inches and 2.25 pounds. Silver mounted. Excellent pinned handle. Excellent karda and chakma. Excellent scabbard & frog by village sarki with new leather.

What's wrong with it? Two things. About two inches from the tip there is a small crack in the edge, about 1/8th inch, which is barely visible. You can grind it out or leave as is. I've seen cracks like this in khukuris for 14 years, sold them all at discount, and they are all in the field still working. The cracks never go anywhere but they look nasty.

Item two: There's a little rust damage. Vikash cleaned most of it off but did not polish the blade back to magic stone mirror finish. A half hour on the blade with some sandpaper will do the job.

We'll deliver this knife to your door for $125, $70 off regular.

Call or email if interested and forgive the pix quality.

Great looking blade, and it seems i have the first opportunity to grab it, but I'll pass. Blessings to the winner.

Shalom:D :D

Ahhhgggg!!! It hurts!!! I wanted one of these for a long time but I am broke. Someone put me out of my misery.

Already in debt, have been for a few years. I am now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, a couple more months and I am in the clear. If I take on more debt now, my wife will kill me.

I am going to have a little talk over dinner tonight. If I get a go from the little lady and it is still here, then we will see what happens. I have to bring up that it is my patriotic duty to incur more debt and keep the economy running. I am only doing my part. ;) Keep your fingers crossed boys, this is a long shot.

Gotta get rid of this one before I can post more give aways.

Take it for half price -- $97.50.

Anybody with a grinder who is just a little bit handy can get rid of that crack, polish up the blade, and end up with a perfect Garud for half price. If nobody takes this by Monday this is what I'm going to do myself.

If you want to set up a payment plan, I will take it. If someone else wants to pay in full up front, give it to them.

If I didnt have my share of AK's I would take it in a heartbeat.

Taking down the handle would be fun. Woodchucking would be pretty easy. You just leave the monster head and start taking down above those claws, make the area behind the bolster a little smaller and viola...you got a carved user.

Time consuming but not difficult, and very satisfying in the process.:)

Also...one hayl of a dispaly piece regardless.

..but I just couldn't bring myself to cut off its wittle toes  :(

And besides, even though we on this side of the world consider this to be part of myth and mysticism, I'm too old to risk pissing anybody off. I did polish his nails, though

Talk to Terry Sisco. I think he's got one with the toes busted off --hazards of long distance travel.
