Another update for 2012

OK, here is another update for 2012. I revisited the Escort and came up with a couple of improvements. I believe the Escort has become an exceptional small fixed blade. I have been carrying the one in the picture for a while now. It is extremely versatile and easy to carry. The handle has been reshaped and the blade has been given a bit more belly. The blade is 4" and the handle is 3.75".

Dirk, I think an Escort variant would look great with a clip point. Make the clip about 1 to 1.5 inches long, subtly curved. It'll look like a bowie profile.

Hark, the Escort itself will remain in the Scottish dirk or Sgian Dubh style. A swedge may pop up from time to time but, I was mainly thinking small single edge dagger style blade. This way, it "flys under the radar", so to speak. Doesn't draw a lot of attention because of a second or false edge or clip.

Don't you worry Hark. I know how you like bowie blades. I do have a bowie/clip point design in the size range of the Escort. I am still tweaking it but, it will be seeing the light of day pretty soon. You will like it!
