Just so everyone knows. Knives are moving. Some Bitteroots are coming to me for final finish and sharpening. Lots more knives are going to the Strider guys for processing and finishing.

Anyone who wants to place an order should contact Christine. Talonite Bitteroots will be available through BladeArt.

BTW,in addition to the tribute Steve Shackleford wrote in Blade Magazine, there will be a full page tribute to Rob in the next issue of Gun Magazine. The writer gave me a copy of it in Las Vegas, and it's really worth reading. Get a copy.

Questions are welcome, anytime.

Jerry I think what you and the strider guys are doing is awesome!Christine is really lucky to have good guys helpin her out in this time of need.As a side note Jerry,I know there was an airforce survival type knife in the works shortly before Rob's death.Any idea about its plans to be unveiled or will it come out and if so any idea on its basic size or design. Thanks in advance!

Dennis, I don't know the issue, but what I was given in Vegas was for whatever issue is due out next.

Right now we are getting the blades Rob already had in the works going again. We will also be doing the Kootenai, which is the single edged version of the Raven. I'm not sure Rob had finalized the Air Force Survival Knife but everything he had in the works will make it out eventually, including a couple no one knows about. As things happen we'll post it here.

We're getting things moving right now for a commemorative version of the Urban Raven which we hope to have done in time for Blade. This will be a special run with Rob's Indian name of Four Star Big Bear on the side opposite his normal mark. More on this as it gets closer to done.

The Strider guys deserve a special thanks on all these things. They're doing a ton of work to keep Rob's knives alive and made to standards that Rob would have been proud to call his own.

Hey Jerry! You don't happen to know roughly when they're releasing the Kootenai do you? Rob and Christine are truly lucky to have the friends they do.

I decided a while back I'll just use the present tense whenever I'm referring to Buffalo Dundee, it just seems more right.

Once we get what Rob already had going running smoothly, then the Kootenai will happen, likely near the end of the year. Sorry I can't give you better info than that right now.

Hey, that's fine. Thanks for the info. I'm just glad the their going go ahead and put it out. I chatted back and forth with Rob quite a bit on the Kootenai. It was going to be sad to see it go by the wayside.

It's really great the way you guys are helping out the Simonich family. The world needs more people like you all!
