Some of you will remember recently I turned up a very early MK III from around 1984 here in South Africa. That is one of my favorite knives now.
Today, a lead I heard of a year ago turned up with a cloth bag, and this inside it. Another beautiful and relatively undocumented piece. This one is just called the Survival 10" according to its paperwork, and dates to Nov 1985.
Must have come after the MK III and maybe became the MK IV? Can't find much mention of 10" knives.
Serial is a lovely low #16. This is a LARGE knife, very solid in hand. Wonder how many were made?
For your enjoyment....another one I will have to contact Anne about. What wonderful and extremely helpful people they are.
