Another Video

Back on You Tube and came across a video by Rune Malte Bertram-Nielsen a Dane who forges axes. The title is "6 Days Solo Bushcraft-Canvas Lavvu, Bow Drill, Spoon Carving, Finnish Axe". He uses a Finnish axe quite a bit, that looks like the one posted #606 down in the Finnish Axe link, plus a carving axe I think he made. He has what I thought was a Helle large Viking knife, but the grind is higher, so maybe he made it himself but it is of the same style. I found some videos of him making tools and an axe head. His grinder is powered by him pedaling what looks to be a bicycle! The Bushcraft video was made in the Western portion of Denmark, looks to be on the North Sea coast line. No talking on the video, just him doing his thing. John

That’s very cool. Today I watched this older Norwegian film on axes, yesterday another knife forging/ making video by the same channel on YouTube knife with sheath making.
Being of Swede/Norweigen heritage I like to see how they do it, & how they used to do it, & also the changes brought on by now doing it American style-
